My idea of a quick meal is a main course that I can have on the plate within 30 minutes of walking through the door. A slow meal takes 45 minutes.
So my 30 minute meals are:
- Any grilled meat with potatoes and veg
- Sausages, mash and baked beans
- Thai green curry (from scratch) with rice
- bolegnase sauce with pasta
- fish grilled with veg or rice

Scrambled eggs with a few strips of smoked salmon - very quick.
Nothing added to beaten eggs just poured into hot non-stick pan.
When it begins to look like an omelette I scramble it and add the salmon and fresh black pepper.
